The-Zone History
The Zone Radio:
Created in 2002 by Alessandro Marenga aka Amptek with the collaboration of Lius.
For more than a decade, the official lineup of The-Zone consisted of Mat & Lius, both writers and hosts of the show.
In recent years Mik also joined the live line-up, thus forming The-Zone trio at the microphones until 2018.
From 2018 to 2024 The-Zone was also live video from Space Echo Studios and then in 2019 the birth of the collaboration with Techno-Club.net with video Dj sets by Lius, Mik and The-Zone guests.
From 2024 the new adventure starts at Radio Centro Idea, a new radio station in DAB and streaming, with a new schedule always focused on news and culture.
The-Zone Records:
In 2010, after more than a decade of being the “radio beacon” of dance-oriented electronic music for Rome, Italy and beyond, supporting and promoting hundreds and hundreds of artists and labels, The-Zone also became a label.
The-Zone Records was born with the same intention as the radio program, that is, to promote the sound of the best artists (historical and emerging) through, this time, the realization of real releases, to take the sound that The-Zone loves and supports outside the radio and to spread the brand of The-Zone and the sound of its artists to the world.
Since 2010 to date, with more than 50 releases, The-Zone Records has collaborated with so many names, some of the best ever: The Advent, Aux88, Debonaire, Audio Injection, Space Djz, Samuli Kemppi, Axel Karakasis, Hugo Paixao, Alejandro Trebor and many others.

Programma radio nato nel 2002 da Alessandro Marenga aka Amptek con la collaborazione di Lius.
Per oltre una decade la formazione ufficiale di The-Zone è stata composta da Mat & Lius, entrambi autori e conduttori dello show.
Negli ultimi anni anche Mik si è unito alla formazione in diretta, formando così il trio The-Zone ai microfoni fino al 2018.
Dal 2018 al 2024 The-Zone è stata anche video live dallo Space Echo Studios e poi nel 2019 la nascita della collaborazione con Techno-Club.net con i Djset video di Lius, Mik e le guest The-Zone.
Dal 2024 inizia la nuova avventura a Radio Centro Idea, una nuova radio in DAB e Streaming, con un nuovo palinsesto sempre puntato alle novità e alla cultura
The-Zone Records:
Nel 2010, dopo oltre una decade in cui è stata il “faro radiofonico” della musica elettronica rivolta alla dance per Roma, l’Italia e non solo, supportando e promuovendo centinaia e centinaia di artisti ed etichette, The-Zone è diventata anche Label.
The-Zone Records nasce con lo stesso intento del programma radio, ovvero, promuovere il sound dei migliori artisti (storici ed emergenti) attraverso, questa volta, la realizzazione di vere e proprie release, così da far uscire il sound che The-Zone ama e supporta al di fuori della radio, e diffondere per il mondo il marchio di The-Zone e il sound dei suoi artisti.
Dal 2010 ad oggi, con oltre 50 releases, The-Zone Records ha collaborato con tantissimi nomi, tra i migliori in assoluto: The Advent, Aux88, Debonaire, Audio Injection, Space Djz, Samuli Kemppi, Axel Karakasis, Hugo Paixao, Alejandro Trebor e tanti altri
Mat
Dj and Composer, in 1995 found THE GURUFS project through which he released his first CD ” Mechanical Resonance”.
In January 2005 Mat together with Lius begun the co-production of The Zone and eventually he became the official voice, looking up interviews and news presentations.
In the last ten years has produced, he interviewed and worked with the best dj / producers in Europe .
The raindog project along with Mik NoiseVideo, promotes live exibitions and djset for the parties as well as bookings, one of a few names that stand out is The Advent.
Dj e Composer, nel 95 fonda il progetto THE GURUFS con il quale pubblica il Cd “Mechanical Resonance”.
Nel Gennaio 2005 inizia la co-conduzione di The Zone insieme a Lius e nel 2007 ne diventa la voce ufficiale, occupandosi delle interviste e della presentazione delle news.
Negli ultimi dieci anni ha prodotto, intervistato e collaborato con i migliori dj/producers d’europa.
Nel progetto Raindog, durante i loro party, oltre ad alcune esibizioni live o djset (in compagnia di Mik NoiseVideo) si occupa della selezione artisti, fra tutti spicca il nome di TheAdvent.
Lius
Dj and multimedia artist, bonded to experimental theatre and installation, very interested and operating in the field of the avant-garde art, Lius promotes and organised events characterised by international artists involved with electronic music.
Beside being the head manager of The Zone, Lius together with Ampetek and Dj Mat is the creator of The Zone.
Dj e artista multimediale, legato ad esperienze di teatro sperimentale ed istallazioni sperimentali, attivissimo nel settore dell’arte d’avanguardia, promotore ed organizzatore di eventi caratterizzati dalla partecipazione di ospiti appartenenti alla scena di musica elettronica internazionale ideatore e realizzatore con Amptek e Dj Mat di THE ZONE di cui oggi è Direttore responsabile.
Mik

Michele Fuccio, film e soundtrack editor, con lo pseudonimo NOISEVIDEO collabora e partecipa in diversi “stage”con djset o visual, dai club techno, live di Band musicali e opere teatrali.
Con THE-ZONE crea il duo Mat&Mik occupandosi della struttura dei set al fianco di Mat, un percorso sonoro che predilige la Techno e le sue derive più
interessanti.
Amptek
He found the electronic music radio programme THE ZONE on Radio Città Aperta in Rome, coordinated by Lius and Dj Mat.
During the last years along with Giona A.Nazzaro and thanks to AMGAN SOYUZ, he achieved the making of cinematic sound programme called FALSO MOVIMENTO.
The role of Amptek in The Zone is to select “Unique and Rare Electronic Music” so as to cover past and present electronic sounds and being the music cult radio show.
Ha fondato la trasmissione di musica elettronica “THE ZONE” coodiretta con Lius e Dj Mat sempre su Radio Città Aperta di Roma.
Negli ultimi anni, attraverso il progetto AMGAN SOYUZ, con Giona A.Nazzaro realizza la trasmissione di suoni cinematografici “FALSO MOVIMENTO”.
Amptek in The Zone si occupa della sezione “Elettronica d’ Autore” e ci portera nei viaggi tra presente e passato dei suoni elettronici, la parte culto della trasmissione.
